5 Tips to pass your CCNA Exam

Oct 2021 by MARIA FORSBERG

Many new Cisco exams were released in June 2019 as part of the most comprehensive upgrade to their career certification program since inception (back in 1993!). One of the upgraded exams was of course the CCNA Exam – now called: Implementing and Administering Cisco Solutions (CCNA 200-301).

Revisions to the regulations for recertification have been made, and a new Cisco DevNet certification has been introduced in addition to the announcement of new CIsco examinations. On February 24, 2020, all exam and regulation amendments are launched.

The CCNA 200-301 exam, also known as Implementing and Administering Cisco Solutions, is an Associate level test in the 200 series. If you're just getting started with Cisco networking, this is the exam for you. Only one CCNA exam is required for the CCNP certification, and even that is no longer a prerequisite for the CCNA certification under the revised program style.

Who should sign up for The Cisco Solution CCNA (200-301)?

Anyone interested in earning their CCNA certification should take a CCNA course to prepare. As a support technician, you'll benefit from the course's underlying knowledge of Cisco networks' installation, operation, and verification.

The following are the types of jobs that are best matched to the knowledge you will get from this course:

Network engineer at a lower level
Network administrator
Network support technician
Help desk technician
Why Take the Cisco CCNA (200-301) Exam?

To begin a career in IT, one must first earn a Cisco Certified Network Associate certification. During the process of obtaining this certification, the Cisco Certified Network Associate test covers a wide range of IT professional fundamentals.

Successors will be able to take advantage of a wide range of possibilities due to this. In addition, Cisco has been working tirelessly since 1984 to give the best and most timely network solutions. In the early days of the LAN, Leonard Bosack and Sandy Lerner created it (Local Area Networking). As a result, it is even more sensible and trustworthy to choose them.

Exam Preparation for the CCNA

It's possible to fail this test, but it all comes down to your preparation.

Because of this, if you have a foundation in the CCNA R&S certification, you will be familiar with the majority of the exam's topics, such as the routing protocols. You may find up to 90% of the exam subjects familiar to those who have previously taken either the CCNP R&S or CCIE R&S exams.

Exam specifics and course outlines are now out of the way, and we're ready for an essential part of your adventure. You're about to take a test that requires a lot of hard work and dedication from you. Consequently, if you want to be successful, you must understand in which area you need to put in more effort. In addition, creating a study plan can help you a great deal in obtaining the certificate.

To begin, we recommend that you review your IT lessons and concepts regularly and practice your soft skills in areas such as networking, IP principles, services, and so on.

Review your Cisco soft skills and seek assistance from knowledgeable and experienced IT professionals. On top of that, Cisco wants its candidates and workers to work just as hard as they do on the networks they design and maintain. This study guide is guaranteed to help you long-term if you stick to it with all your heart and mind.

Cisco Training

The instructor-led Implementing and Administering Cisco Solution training includes lecture sections, test s and labs. It´s a 5 day course and with a combination of lecture, hands-on labs, and self-study, you will learn how to install, operate, configure, and verify basic IPv4 and IPv6 networks.

Your Best Friend is a Book

When it comes to answering questions and clearing up confusion, nothing beats a good book. To become a Cisco Certified Network Associate, Cisco recommended reading two books. The two books are –

CCNA Preparation Library (640-801) by Stephen McQuerry

Cisco has approved and owns this book. It's a great resource for applicants who plan to self-study and prepare for the exam. Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices Parts 1 and 2 make up the bulk of this book's test prep content. All of their theories, concepts, and vocabularies are also included.

Todd Lammle's Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Study Guide (640-802)

CCNA certification specialists and professionals frequently recommend this book to students preparing for the CCNA exam. It's a favorite among candidates since it includes four full-length practice questions written by Todd Lammle, and it's free. Cisco network equipment is also covered in this course.

Sign up for Cisco Community

Joining an online community is always a good idea, no matter where you do it. When more people are involved, the chances of finding a solution to a problem improve significantly. It's also more interesting when there are multiple perspectives. These discussions broaden the scope of the research. Introverts have an opportunity to speak out, rather than preferring to stay out of the discussion. Forums are a great way to develop a critical community for understanding people..

Conclusion

Take a mock test to broaden your study technique and ensure that you get the greatest possible score on the real exam. Looking at your answers will show you where you need to focus your study efforts and how well you met the exam's goals.
