What is the Cyber-security Information Sharing Partnership?

A cyber threat does not become a managed risk until it is fully understood, a thorough understanding of situational awareness is key to managing this risk.

CiSP is a joint industry and government scheme based in the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) designed to deliver situational awareness to its members and encourage the sharing of information on cyber risk, in a secure, confidential and dynamic environment and to enable others to adopt appropriate mitigation.

CiSP is a secure social networking platform that enables its members to receive enriched information on cyber threats and vulnerabilities in order to exchange information on threats and vulnerabilities as they occur in real-time.

Cyber Security Information Sharing Partnership (CiSP) was set up as a joint industry and government initiative to exchange cybersecurity threat information in real-time, in a secure, confidential and dynamic environment, increasing the awareness of the situation and reducing the impact on UK businesses and organisations.
