As a security or audit professional, does this scenario sound familiar? Management is captivated by the latest industry fad, the sales department is pushing for a costly new technology, and you're caught in the middle, struggling to advocate for the foundational best practices that you know are essential. It's a common challenge, and it often leaves organizations vulnerable and professionals feeling unheard.
