The journey is structured into two levels: Silver and Gold. Each tier has specific requirements covering both the certified skills within your team and commercial performance benchmarks. Silver represents a strong foundational capability, while Gold signifies a deeper, more extensive level of expertise and market success.
To attain Silver status, your organisation must meet criteria for both staff certification and revenue.
A minimum of 5 individuals in your company must pass the required exams. The structure for these five people is as follows:
Your company must also meet a performance threshold of at least $100,000 in Cloud Revenue (New Billed Revenue) within the preceding twelve months. For partners in developing markets, this threshold is $50,000. This revenue must originate from the Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Plan, its associated applications, and the Dynamics 365 Enterprise Team Member.
Advancing to Gold status demonstrates the highest level of capability and requires a greater commitment to certification and revenue generation.
The team requirement increases significantly to 15 individuals who must meet the exam criteria:
The revenue target for Gold Competency is $300,000 in Cloud Revenue (New Billed Revenue) over the trailing twelve-month period. For partners in developing markets, the requirement is $150,000.
Please note the following rules regarding customer association and exam validity. New customers acquired from 29th March 2019 onwards must be linked to your organisation via the incentives claims process to count towards your revenue. Customers acquired before this date will continue to be credited through a Digital Partner of Record association.
Regarding retired exams, MB2-717 and MB2-877 remain valid for competency until 30th June 2020. Similarly, the retired exams MB2-718 and MB2-719 will be valid until 31st August 2020.
